Residential quarter in Perm
An urban collage of public spaces

About the peroject
At the core of the project is the idea of the квартал as a lively and diverse urban environment. By dividing the complex into several typologically distinct parts, the design creates different kinds of public spaces throughout the site: plazas, streets, courtyards, a bridge, and terraces. Familiar urban forms - the block, the quarter, the tower - come together here as an urban collage.
Idea
At the intersection of Lunacharskogo and Kuibysheva streets, the project introduces an urban square called Welcome Plaza. This is where busy streets and the main pedestrian routes converge, one of them leading directly to the green boulevards along the Kama River. An office building is located on this square. From Welcome Plaza, visitors are drawn into the main Central Plaza, which connects all parts of the project. From there, a restaurant street rises gently toward Pushkina Street, creating a pedestrian link to the historic church building and the stadium. On one side of the Central Plaza, an amphitheater is designed as a terraced landscape element.

Architecture
The building volumes follow the principles of urban planning. The main feature of the project is its maximum development intensity while preserving a large amount of public space. It is this combination of density and openness that shapes the character of the quarter.
