Hi-light
Bright, modern, conceptual
About the project
Department Store Hi-light is a conceptual fashion space in Ekaterinburg. It takes place in the popular Greenwich shopping center, which is located in the historic center of the city.
Concept
The architects took the “peach” concept as the basis for the design, they wanted to create a memorable space that reflects the latest trends in modern retail design. The use of peachy orange-pink tones helped to create a bright and modern atmosphere in keeping with the fashion industry.
Interior
The decoration of the floors and walls are held in calm white and gray shades, which is an ideal base for each tenant to demonstrate their individual designs. The striking elements are the clothing equipment, some of them designed specifically for the project by CORE objects furniture brand. Rails, storage cabinets and display tables come in a variety of materials from copper to glass, and in colors from bright red to pastel pink. The scope of work also included the development of an area in front of the department store, where we proposed placing another retail area for one tenant and a café for a local tenant.
Realization
The department store has three entrance areas. We wanted to impress and involve customers from the first step, so we proposed interesting triangular-shaped entrance portals with a copper finish, made in the general style of the department store. There are a number of shelving built around the perimeter of the existing walls, while at the same time there is a large number of lightweight mobile rails, cabinets and podiums, thanks to which it is possible to create different compositions of ready-made total images anywhere in the store. One of the main accent elements is the round cash register, which is located in the very center and attracts attention from all sides of the department store. The cash register element is made of copper-look composite material and has a suspended multi-layer bent structure made of white and copper-colored PVC mesh.
